Family Day Before & After School Programs required to remain closed until Monday, January 25th
The Premier of Ontario announced today that schools in southern Ontario will continue to remain closed for in-person learning until Monday, January 25th. This is an extension to the Safer at Home Restrictions that were announced on December 21st to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
As part of this, and at the direction of the Ministry of Education, all Before & After School Programs are not allowed to operate for the duration of the school closures and will therefore be closed between now and Friday, January 22nd. Family Day Before & After School programs will reopen on Monday, January 25th. During the closure period, parents with children in these programs will not be charged any fees.
Please note that child care programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers will remain open for the duration of the 28-day period that the Safer at Home Restrictions are in force.
