Holiday Closures and Early Pick-Up Request

Family Day’s Early Learning and Child Care Centres, Licensed Home Child Care Programs, EarlyON Centres, and administrative office will be closed in observance of the following statutory holidays:

• Thursday, December 25, 2025 (Christmas Day)

• Friday, December 26, 2025 (Boxing Day)

• Thursday, January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day)

Early Closure – Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve

This year, both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fall on weekdays. While these days are not statutory holidays, they are a meaningful time of celebration and connection for many families.

The Family Day Management Team kindly asks parents to join us in showing appreciation for our child care staff by making every effort to pick up children by 4:00 p.m. on:

• Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve)

• Wednesday, December 31, 2025 (New Year’s Eve)

Early pick-up on these days will allow staff members the opportunity to leave a little earlier than usual.  Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
