Ontario’s State of Emergency has now been extended until Monday, April 13, 2020
On March 17th Ontario Premier Doug Ford declared a provincial state of emergency that was originally set to expire on Tuesday, March 31st. On the advice of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, the state of emergency has now been extended until Monday, April 13th. Publicly funded schools continue to remain closed.
As result of the COVID-19 situation, Family Day child care programs continue to be closed until further notice. Where possible, some of our other programs have transitioned to being offered in a virtual format.
While our child care programs are not operating, Family Day continues to work to support family wellness using a variety of virtual platforms. Please go to our Family Day website for information about family wellness and keeping children active and engaged while physical distancing (https://familydaycare.com/ideas-for-keeping-children-engaged-and-busy-at-home/).
We will continue to keep you updated as this rapidly changing situation evolves.
From everyone at Family Day, our very best wishes to you and yours — we hope you are staying safe and healthy.
