Research shows that children build their knowledge and understanding of the world by taking part in hands-on activities that are fun and meaningful. Once they understand the physical world, they develop more complex ideas and concepts that prepare them for more formal learning when they start school. Our teachers help children to build their skills and knowledge by providing lots of opportunities for play and by talking with the children about what they are doing and learning.
