Update on Family Day Before & After School Programs and EarlyON Centre Programs
Today, the Government of Ontario announced that in light of the significant spread of the Omicron variant, schools in Ontario will remain closed to in-person learning at least until January 17th. These closures are being put in place to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. As a result, all Family Day Before & After School programs in Peel, Toronto, and York will be closed at least until January 17th. During the closure period, parents with children in Before & After School Programs will not be charged any fees.
Family Day’s child care programs for non-school-aged children remain open.
Indoor, in-person programs offered through our EarlyON Child and Family Centres will be closed until further notice but we will continue to offer virtual programming and outdoor programs (limited to 10 people).
