A Message to Families

Closure of Programs  |   Child Care Fees 

On March 11th, the Government of Ontario communicated a decision to close schools to manage the spread of COVID-19. As you are aware, this pandemic situation is a very serious one and one which is also changing rapidly. The health and safety of our staff, children and families is our upmost priority.

At this point all Family Day child care programs (including before and after school and home child care programs), continue to be closed. We understand that this has had a significant impact on families. I want to assure you that the management team at Family Day is here for you. We are very mindful that these closures may have created some barriers for your child care needs and we also want to assure you that families will not be charged fees during the closure of our programs.

As we continue to plan for the days ahead, we will continue to share the facts coming from our Officers of Health and governments as well as any directives we receive about resuming normal operations. You are encouraged to refer to Family Day’s website (www.familydaycare.com) for updated information.
